13' Saturn Inflatable Boat

What is the 13-feet SD385 Saturn Inflatable Boat Designed for?

The 13-feet SD385 Saturn inflatable boat is large. It is designed for a boating adventure with a company: it can carry up to 6 people. It is an excellent weekend pleasure cruiser for entire family. It is great for fishing, diving, snorkeling, rowing, exploring the Canadian wilderness or transporting you and your cargo to a campsite on the insulated island.

Although the SD385 Saturn model can take up to 30 HP engine, even with a 15 HP outboard motor and 3-4 people this inflatable boat will fly over the water with a cruising speed around of 20-30 mph. However, this inflatable boat is very easy to paddle despite being large and loaded: it just glides across the water.

The wide rock-solid tubes and the high-pressure drop stitch air deck floor make the boat very stable - you can stand up in it without making it shaky. Also, this inflatable dinghy can handle some big waves.

This boat is very easy to transport and store. The boat and motor fit in a small pickup, and would fit in the back of a large SUV too.

Advantages of the 13' SD385 Saturn Inflatable Boat

  • The boat has excellent resistance to tearing, tension and breaking because it’s made of 1100 denier Korean PVC fabric with polyester support - a much more heavy-duty PVC fabric, whereas most of our competitors have 1000 denier PVC boats.
  • Double layers of fabric at the bottom of the tubes and rub-strake protector along the keel provide extra protection from sharp rocks and abrasive sand.
  • The safety valve prevents excessive air pressure in the boat chambers.
  • The 13' SD385 Saturn model has a high-pressure (up to 9 psi) drop stitch air deck floor which is extremely rigid once properly inflated. The high-pressure air floors make inflatable boats much lighter, much easier to assemble and disassemble and more compact when deflated.
  • This inflatable boat can take up to a 30 HP short shaft motor.
  • A canopy top to protect from the summer sun or rain could be easily installed; and a foldable lightweight swimming ladder is also a good idea.
  • This inflatable boat is easy to assemble and disassemble, to inflate and deflate. To inflate the boat, simply unroll it and pump in air with the included hand pump or optional electric air inflator. To deflate the boat, you have to open all air valves and start rolling the boat from the transom, or quickly suck all air out with an electric pump. Click to see how to deflate and fold your inflatable boat.
  • Once deflated and folded, the SD385 boat occupies the size of a large bag. It can be carried in the back of your SUV or minivan; and it can be stored in a large closet of your apartment. A bag with deflated and packed boat can be easily carried around with inexpensive foldable hand cart. Inflated boat can be easily transported with help of our removable dinghy wheels that are attached to the transom.
New air valves improve 13' SD385 Saturn inflatable boats durability and practicality:

Air valves have been moved toward the inside of boat's tubes and away from direct exposure to the weather elements. This allows easier inflation from inside the boat and minimizes damage caused by sun and rain while the boat is stored uncovered for prolonged periods of time. Rain water does not accumulate inside the valves.
